Beta Analytic Joins 2012 European Association of Archaeologists Annual Meeting

Deputy Operations Manager for Europe and Australasia Ms. Pat Patodia invites participants of the 18th Annual Meeting of the European Association of Archaeologists (EAA 2012) to visit Beta Analytic’s exhibit during the four-day event which starts August 29, 2012, in Helsinki, Finland. The Beta Analytic tabletop display is found in Room 7 at the Main Building of the University of Helsinki City Centre Campus from August 30 to September 1, 2012.

Conference organizers expect more than 1,150 participants at the meeting. Attendance is significantly higher than in previous years due to integration of the 5th International Research Congress of Medieval and Modern Archaeology also known as the Medieval Europe Research Congress (MERC).

“We join conferences like the EAA annual meeting to show our commitment to the industry. The EAA 2012 program includes more than 75 sessions focusing on these four major themes – Interpreting the Archaeological Record, Maritime Archaeology, Archaeological Heritage Resource Management, and Perspectives on Archaeology in the Modern World. The annual meeting also includes awarding of the European Archaeological Heritage Prize and the EAA Student Award.

This year’s meeting is organized by the University of Helsinki, the National Board of Antiquities, the Finnish Antiquarian Society in collaboration with the Archaeological Society of Finland, the University of Oulu, and the University of Turku.
